Video Remix Contest Entry

                     

The latest Benstonium video, "True Hollywood Robots", starring the beloved robot Greg Jablonski, has been entered into a video contest and needs your support!  A public vote will decide the ten finalists of TotalRecut.com's Remix Challenge 2008.  The Benstonium.com entry into this competition revisits the life of robot actor Greg Jablonski and his days in Hollywood.  Jablonski first appeared on Benstonium.com when his story was consulted, and reworked into the script, for the short-film entitled "The Roommate" with co-stars Joe Flaherty, as Lee, and Kevin Dobson, as Taylor.  With interviews from his roommates and his coked-out former manager Arnold Carlyle, played by Mike Naccarelli, this latest Benstonium video tells the true story of Greg's rise and fall as a robot actor.  This is a can't-miss video and, with your help, it will blow the competition away.

Pittsburgh Penguins Domino's Pizza Commercial

     After defeating the Red Wings, Petr Sykora was asked what kept him going through the lengthy overtime periods. He said it was Domino's pizza. Playing off that interview, I made this Penguins Stanley Cup "Commercial" supporting the pizza that helped beat Detroit in Triple Overtime.  Check out the video now in the Videos page

  In Dormont, Pennsylvania circa 1984, life is crime, and crime is perverse.  Franco Alfredo, a local immigrant paperboy played by Mike Evangelista, learns mob life first hand when he becomes the protege of local kingpin, Rufus Goosten.  He is initiated into a family held together by excessive boozing and its ties to an internet pedophilia outfit.  When Mickey "The Ped" (ped = pedophile), played by Joe Flaherty, is ratted out as a key player in his family's ill-conceived kiddie porn ring, the crime world is left in turmoil.  The headquarters for Mickey's pedo-network are raided by two of Dormont's hard-nosed "pigs", trigger-happy Lieutenant Jack Rockhard and his hotshot sidekick A.C. Woodbridge, played by Lee Taylor and Zac Jaber.  Mickey becomes an outsider to his associates:  Mackenzie "The Securi-Man", played by Brandon MacKenzie, loses faith in Mickey, frisking him with less-than-usual enthusiasm.  Vagiant, an 8-foot tall primordial fairy-toughman (a Goosten creation) played by Andrew Solecki, possesses the strength of ten men, but will his Giant heart forgive Mickey?  Can a local paperboy without secondary education and little common sense prove the savior of a Goosten crime family that is falling apart?

With the production help of fallen Benstonium friend Kevin Dobson, Chris Benson delivers another sure blockbuster hit featuring a star-studded cast.

Rugby Fest

Every year the finest Rugby competitors meet at Lawrence County Fairgrounds for an all day extravaganza of beer, food, music, and a little bit of Rugby.  On April 28th CB traveled to this year's Rugby Fest and found inspiration to create his latest video: Rugby Fest.  Check it out in the Movies page and see the Behind the Scenes version in the Members Area.

Man of the Year: Dan Donovan

On April 20, 2007, Benstonium.com presented Dan Donovan with its first ever Man of the Year Award.  He was awarded with a trophy, a t-shirt with the above "magazine cover" on the front, a copy of the Man of the Year "magazine cover", and a tumultuous round of applause.  Pictures and video from this monumental occasion will be posted soon.

State of the Union

Like most Americans the past week, I was glued to my TV watching the Presidential State of the Union Address.  This was the first time I watched one of these and didn't know what to expect.  This video highlights what you may have overlooked, and puts a Benstonium twist on President Bush's speech.  Check it out now by clicking the image below!

This is a Steelers Tribute song I put together using Queen's "We Will Rock You / We Are The Champions" and some Steelers' sound clips. It's their Road To The Super Bowl. It starts off at the last game of the regular season and getting into the playoffs. Then it advances to the Cincy game and Indy game. Then the Steelers almost losing in Indy, but Vanderjagt missing the field goal. Then the Steelers upsetting Denver and finally ending up with the Steelers winning the Super Bowl!
